Our recent initiative was a tremendous success. It was about more than just a trip—it was about giving our youth a sense of belonging and possibility. As they experienced the hustle and bustle of downtown and visited companies and museums, they began to see where they fit in and how they can shape the future of our city. We’re already planning next year’s event, and we’re still accepting donations to make it even better. Your support is crucial in continuing this important work.

Downtown Day July 2024

Prior to this event, many of these young individuals had never experienced downtown despite living just a few miles away. But this July, that's all about to change!

Each youth will receive a $50 exploration card, giving them the chance to indulge in delicious food, purchase cultural items, and participate in various activities. From exploring movie theaters to enjoying a cultural concert, there's something for everyone as we bridge the gap between neighborhoods and the vibrant city center.
