Snow Removal
Every winter, Chicago faces frigid temperatures and lots of snow—and when the snow piles up My Block My Hood My City is there to rally a civic army of volunteers to shovel the sidewalks of our elderly neighbors.
Seniors: sign up below to have your block shoveled after a storm.
Volunteers: sign up to add your name to our Shovel Crew email list and be alerted when your services are needed.
Summertime heat relief
At the peak of summer, Chicago can face temps in the triple digits and as part of our commitment to take care of people no matter what, My Block My Hood My City hand-delivers complimentary box fans and bottled water to our elderly neighbors.
