My Block My Hood My City is proud to introduce the “I Gotchu” Scholarship Fund to support our Explorer Alumni in their pursuit of postsecondary initiatives. At this time, this scholarship is only available to current Explorers and Alumni. 

Our scholarship will provide $3,000 in wraparound support per school year for as long as the Explorer is pursuing postsecondary education or vocational training. Each scholarship recipient will also be matched with a mentor who will check in with them every month. This scholarship will be renewed every year. Every two years, current scholarship recipients must submit a modified reapplication. 

Applications are reviewed during the spring season and awardees are annouced in May.
